Why Our Sponsors Support NIE...
"We're proud to support Newspapers in Education because it helps teachers provide classroom learning experiences that are more relevant to students. Hands-on involvement with topics like financial education helps our children prepare for tomorrow's challenges."
Kerry A. S. Parker
CEO, A+ Federal Credit Union
"BookPeople contributes to NIE to promote the free exchange of ideas. That free exchange leads to independent thinking and decision making, both of which are a part of every responsible citizen's task. Helping young people develop critical skills is a great value to us all."
Steven Bercu
CEO, BookPeople
Why Teachers Love NIE...
Teachers use newspapers to get their students excited about reading and excited about learning. Used as living textbooks, newspapers help teachers introduce students to life-long reading habits while encouraging more meaningful, hands-on learning.
