Get Print or Electronic Newspapers for Your Classroom

Every year The News delivers almost 1 million copies of the newspaper to area schools. Increasing test scores, improving reading comprehension skills, and helping students experience history as it happens are reasons why teachers request the newspaper for their students from elementary school to high school.

Alabama Pride in Action!

Teachers using the newspaper, videos, webcasts and other instructional tools that NIE provides prepare our students for success in school, in college, in the workforce and in life. This is made possible through the generosity of caring individuals and committed local businesses. Support schools by covering the cost of a school's need based on their previous participation or by Adopting-A-Classroom in your area for $1,500 or a School for $5,000 for one year.
