You spend all day helping your students. Now you can help their parents, too.
The Miami Herald's Newspaper in Education Department is launching a new feature called Teacher-Parent Corner, and we would like for you to be a guest columnist.
WHAT DO YOU THINK PARENTS SHOULD KNOW?
Our goal is to provide an opportunity for parents to hear from local education professionals about ways to help their kids do better in school. The articles can feature study tips, educational activities, information about upcoming tests or policy changes, or any other information you feel would be helpful to parents.
TELL THEM!!!
These articles will appear on the Miami Herald's Newspaper in Education website. The articles should be directed toward parents of school-aged children (items specific to your grade level are fine, though) and should be approximately 300 words long. When you submit an article, be sure to include your name, daytime phone number, school name, grade level and subject area. We would like to include a picture of you with your article, so please also attach a photograph of yourself. Your school photo or something similar is perfect!
Please submit your article and photo as soon as possible to:
