NIE provides The Grand Rapids Press, The Jackson Citizen Patriot, The Kalamazoo Gazette or the Muskegon Chronicle to area classrooms. Schools will receive their local newspaper.

NIE sponsorships vary for each newspaper.

The Grand Rapids Press, Kalamazoo Gazette and Muskegon Chronicle sponsorships include a total of up to three days a week of e-edition and/or printed newspapers, while funding is available. Printed newspaper delivery is only available on Wednesdays. E-editions are available Monday - Sunday. You may choose one, two or three days a week of e-edition and/or printed newspapers. You may select all e-edition or a combination of print and e-edition newspapers. For example, you may select printed newspapers on Wednesdays and two additional days of e-edition newspapers or three days of e-edition newspapers.

The Jackson Citizen Patriot sponsorships include your choice of Monday - Thursday print and Monday - Sunday e-editions, while funding is available.

E-editions are exact replica pages of the printed newspaper in electronic form, with additional features. All four newspapers archive e-editions for 14 days. Whatever e-edition issue you order, Monday - Sunday, can be accessed and read in your classroom for up to two weeks.
