We can help you provide these timely resources to your teachers

These content modules have been specifically developed to encourage repeat visits to your NIE website from your teachers. Every Monday fresh installments are posted online under your own branding and navigation. This keeps your NIE program top of mind as teachers learn to look to you for classroom resources -- both print and online. A strong, current, NIE website also provides an important gateway to your new Digital Editions.

Our rates are scaled based on circulation and every effort is made to fit tight newspaper budgets. We can also help you manage your site, so your overworked in-house tech staff doesn't have to deal with updating and archiving your materials. Additional services available include online ordering, online verification affidavites and custom web development. Our objective is to supply your teachers with the best resources -- all under your newspaper's branding and navigation.

Words in the News

Words in the News is a VOCABULARY builder based on words from major news stories. Each week a new word is defined and placed in context using a snippet from a news story. The word is then added to the databank.

Teachers can generate quizzes based on word lists appropriate for middle school or high school students. Students can take the quiz in the interactive format online with automatic scoring and correction, or the teacher can choose a printer-friendly version to distribute quizzes in class without a computer.

in addition students are encouraged to find the words in your newspaper (print or digital edition) to put the words learned in context, using the newspaper as a textbook.

To include Words in the News in your NIE program under your own branding contact us by email at info@nieonline.com
