Details
There is no cost to enter the contest. There is a 25¢ minimum donation per vote.
Photos will not be returned and upon submittal become property of The Forum.
Entries will be displayed online and finalists will be featured in The Forum for public voting.
The contest will involve three rounds of voting helping us reach our top twelve finalists. Our top 12 finalists will be featured in our 2012 NIE Pet Calendar supplement to be published on Sunday, December 18, 2011. Glossy copies of the calendar will be available. If you would like to pre-order a glossy copy, simply mail a $12 donation check with your name and phone number included to: The Forum NIE, PO Box 2020, Fargo, ND 58107 with "Pet Calendar" in the subject line. Once the calendars are completed, we will notify you and you can pick up your copy at the front desk of The Forum. Calendars are expected to be available for pickup around December 14, 2011. If you would like your calendar shipped to you please include an additional $5 for shipping.

How voting will work
You may vote online or by mail entry form. Votes are 25¢ minimum donation each. Proceeds will purchase newspapers for area classrooms! A portion of the proceeds will also go to the FM Humane Society. A $5 donation = 20 votes for your pet! To vote without giving a donation please see the official rules.
Prizes
Twelve lucky pets will win a Happy Dog photo session with Rialee Photography. (Must be able to travel to Fargo for this session in November to be an eligible winner -- no exceptions).
The pet with the most eligible votes will be our Grand Prize Winner and will win a $1,000 pet prize package and a Happy Dog photo session with Rialee Photography!
You can track your pet online here to see who is in the lead! So make sure you get your pet picture and details in before the deadline and tell all your friends and family so your pet can be the Grand Prize Winner!
Please note: All votes are updated manually. Your votes will not be updated the second your donation is submitted, but rather once the office opens again (M-F, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.) Votes will be updated several times throughout the day. Good luck!
