America's Job Bank

America's Job Bank is a guide that can help young people make informed career choices. The site has several sections including Career InfoNet -- statistics about various careers; The Learning Exchange - information about learning opportunities; Employers - a resume service; and Job Seekers - information about job openings available in the U.S. The site is put together by the U.S. Dept. of Labor in partnership with local State Employment Services and provides an excellent resource for guidance counselors and young people interested in researching future careers.

Smart Grrls is dedicated to helping empower middle school girls to enter non-traditional fields in math, science, engineering, and technology. The site offers information about women in these careers, games, discussion groups, and information on setting up special programs at your school.

College Is Possible is devoted to helping families realize the dream of sending kids to college. Included are financial resources for parents, recommended middle and high school courses for students, and college selection resources. Much of the site is also available in Spanish.
