Detroit Tigers Program

Leaders play an important role in every activity people do together. The leadership they provide is the key to success in sports, government, schools, business and the community as a whole. This year’s Tigers education program — “High Five for Leadership” — uses the popularity of Tigers baseball to teach students how to become leaders in their schools and communities, the different ways people can lead successfully and how anyone can become a leader. In “The PAWS Plan for Leadership,” the Tigers mascot offers step-by-step tips to becoming a leader, and students can commit to demonstrating leadership qualities by signing “The Tigers Pledge for Leadership.”
