Metropolitan Museum of Art Education

The education section of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's web site has been created especially for children. Users will find activities such as one where they view a small portion of an image and guess what the picture is. There's a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page with the most popular questions posed by children. The site has resources for teachers, with inks to summaries of current and recent exhibits and indices of works of art by region or time period.

Michelangelo Buonarroti

Michelangelo is one of the world's most famous artists. He lived a long and complicated life that is reflected in the depths of his works. This site divides the great master's life up into three major sections: Early Life, Mid Years, and Final Days. Each section discusses the major events of Michelangelo's life and offers a brief description of the most important works that he produced in that time period.
